Boasting stunning views of St Mary’s Loch in the Scottish Borders, Capper Kirk Bed And Breakfast is nestled within the converted old Cappercleuch Church, built in 1845. The property is set well back from the road, making for a quiet and relaxing stay and is surrounded by 3/4 acre of landscaped gardens, find a place to sit amongst the the flowers and enjoy the view, the hot tub is the ideal place to relax and stare or choose the comfy seating on the terrace outside of the conservatory. There is ample free parking, free Wi-Fi and BBQ facilities if required.
Capper Kirk offers a suite of 4 rooms for the exclusive use of one party of guests. (please see accommodation page for more details) Part of this suite is the conservatory, which has panoramic views of the surrounding area and where you will find the guests separate entrance, which enables you to come and go at leisure.
Upon arrival guests can enjoy Barbara’s freshly baked scones or cake. A hearty breakfast is served daily and it includes cereals, porridge, cooked breakfast options, and hot beverages.
With immediate access to the Scottish countryside, Capper Kirk is 18 miles from Selkirk and a 30-minute drive from Moffat. The Southern Upland Way footpath and the 250-mile cycling trail pass by the bed and breakfast. We are also well set for some very scenic driving and motor cycling routes. Or you can spend time enjoying the view of the loch while relaxing in our outdoor hot tub (weather dependent) or indoors in a hot, bubbly bath.
